Back when I had began studying game development, I had started a project with some teammates called the glitch and it began as a 2D platformer which was all about a game character which had gained sentience and free will. A character which was unbounded by his chains and became aware of the world he lived in, breaking the fourth wall and knowing what stood behind that screen. I want to take this same concept, recreate it and take it further to create something that takes the idea of intentional bugs and the concept of "glitches" meshes the two of them together to create a mechanic that isn't often used intentionally.

Instead of creating a 2D game, this time I will create some sort of 3D game which uses these "intentional bugs" to create interesting and unique mechanics. For example, say the player pauses the game, animations will cease to continue yet the player may be continue to move during this period. This may allow for unique segments where the an enemy may be vulnerable at a brief moment or a jump may only be done at a select period of time. That idea was taken from this video below:
I will firstly begin to create concept art for these levels, the player, what this glitch effect may look like and some of the many ways it could be use. The big difference between this and the game shown in the video is that my game won't be completely puzzle based.
